For Children
 |
Holidaying with young children and babies can sometimes be a less
relaxing experience than it should be, not helped by the huge
amounts of equipment that even the smallest baby needs. Our aim is
to do everything possible to alleviate your stress, and to give your
children (and you) the best holiday possible.
Both our properties are situated on the edges of villages, in a
rural environment with fresh clean air and plenty of space for your
children to run around and make as much noise as they like.
|
We have lively young children ourselves, and have used our experiences
holidaying with them to shape the accommodation we offer.
|
Both gardens contain a play area, including a sand-pit, climbing frame
with slide, and a wooden Wendy house as well as other outside toys
which will be available.
The play areas are situated close to your private terrace so you can
linger over your after lunch coffees whilst your children play.
|
 |
The pools have been especially designed with children in mind. Both have
shallow areas for toddlers. Steps lead into the shallow sections for ease
of access. The pools are boiler heated to a comfortable temperature for
both you and your children (as far as children are concerned a cold pool
may as well be no pool at all). The pools are fully fenced for safety.
We have adopted saline sterilisation systems in preference to less costly
conventional chlorine; this is far kinder to skin and eyes.
 |
For ths year we have added a full sized trampoline for both play
areas. They are great fun for all the family, but particularly
good for slightly older children who have out grown climbing frames.
(also particularly good for Dads who haven't outgrown anything.)

We also provide a buggy hire service (including an all terrain buggy for
beach trips), which you may find useful especially if you are flying.
Whilst we cannot guarantee a totally safe environment (we don't have a
padded cell!) we have made strenuous efforts to make your holiday home as
safe as possible. We have safety catches on some of the kitchen cupboards
where chemicals and breakables are stored. We do not have bunk beds in our
properties as we do not regard them as suitable for young children.
We can provide evening meals on request, including a separate children's
menu. Babysitting is available, to enable you to sample some of the
fantastic local cuisine in peace.
